Your people aren't resisting change. They're reacting to how it feels.
The reality is, change does not fail because of the strategy or inadequate technology, but because leaders underestimate the human complexity of change.
About
Change fails when leaders treat it as a process problem. It isn't. It's a people problem and people are driven by emotion.
After 25+ years helping organisations like Microsoft, Barclays and Mott MacDonald navigate some of their most complex transformations, I've learned one thing above all else: the leaders who make change stick are the ones who understand how their people feel, not just what they need to do.
That's the foundation of my holistic approach which embeds the ABChange Model. It is a proven, people-first approach to change that I've developed, tested and refined across more than 40 organisations and multiple industries and sectors. It's not theory. It works!
And it consistently delivers three things every organisation needs:

1. Increases employee satisfaction

2. Saves you money

3. Makes you money
My approach to change isn't just built on business experience. Before I ever set foot in a boardroom, I trained as a dancer and actor at Broadway Dance Centre and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. This is where I learned something that has shaped everything I do since: that the most powerful transformations happen when you connect with people emotionally, not just intellectually.
It's also where I met my husband. But that's a story for another day.
